please explain vtp pruning, which scenario it will be the solution.
Why it is required to configure private vlans in VTP domain.

Correct in fact the switch should prompt you if you try to create Pvlan if the vtp mode is other than transparent

Hello ITexpert,
VTP does not support Private VLANs. In fact, VTP mode must be set to transparent prior to configuring private VLANs, and those private VLANs should be manually configured on all the switches on which those are required.
VTP prunning is a feature that will avoid sending unnecessary flooded traffic (broadcast traffic in a particular VLAN) to switches that are not having ports in that VLAN/Broadcast domain.

you mean to say even configuring VTP pruning without transparent mode will not allow me to configure private vlans ?
