What IOS choose

Hi everyone,

I have one switch 2960S-24TS-L. I want to upgrade the IOS version and I dont understand about the diferents between c2960s-universalk9-tar.122-55.SE7.tar and c2960s-universalk9-tar.150-2.SE1.tar becouse the two were publics on jan/2013.

I will appreciated some help in especial how choose the IOS version.

Hi,

You would need to read the release notes for both versions and go over software and hardware features supported for each version.  You also need to read all bug fixes in the release notes before deciding on one.

It really depends on the features which you are looking for.

You have use the Feature navigator to findout the Features those 2 supports.

What I can say is that 122.55.SE7 has more features than the other and its quite stable as of now.
