Hello Guys
Anyone knows what "ip host-routing " command does? I got some 2960 switches had configured with this command. But did lots search on line, just cannot find what this command is for.
Can any one please help?

host-routing Enable host-based routing (proxy ARP and redirect)

Hey,
Hope you guys are all well; ("Im new here");
ip host-routing is when you do not want to run routing protocols. IF the devices are not on the same subnet, it will opt to use ARP and depend on proxies. It is used to configure your communication server to act as a terminal server. (So basically using host routing methods to send packets to devices that are not directly connected, instead of routing protocols).
