is there benefit to let it jin domain  ?

If you want to generate an rsa key you ll need ip domain-name in your config.

Hi,

Two reasons I can immediately think of.

1. You must have a domain name specified before generating crypto keys
2. You don't need to specify the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) on the router/switch CLI when executing command such as ping i.e., you can run ping hostname rather than ping hostname.domainname
