You realize, there are also chassis based Nexus switches?
So, a bit unclear what you're trying to compare. I.e. Nexus chassis switches vs. Nexus non-chassis switches, or Catalyst (?) chassis switches vs. Nexus non-chassis switches, or ?
In general, a chassis switch generally offers more physical configuration options than a non-chassis switch, also, the chassis may have future "upgrades".
Nexus vs. Catalyst (?), the Nexus is more data center oriented and often offers more "performance" than the Catalyst.
