When 6500 Supervisor 2T will Announce and Can order?

Hi All

My customers had problem with 6500 series suppervisor. They need to purchase 6513E with supervisor 2T within August 2011 but the supervisor announce date still unknown.

If anyone know about the Sup2T information - Part Number Pricelist and Announce and order Date, Please let meknow.

Good question and I do not have the answer.

This SUP2T is announced for more than a year now and still nothing: No Datasheet, No SKUs, etc.

The question is maybe : Will it be launched one day or sacrificed to help the Nexus transition !

the sup2T will be announced arrounnd Cisco Live from Las Vegas event.

So stay close..only 2 month until july

The VS-Sup2T will be announced during the Cisco Live 2011 Las Vegas.

Take note that this supervisor engine will NOT support 6704-10GE and 6716-10GE without the DFC3 upgraded to DFC4.  The 6708-10GE will not be supported, period.

Give two weeks after the announcement and that'll be the time you can start ordering.

Hi,

Why SUP-2T have 2 interfaces X2 and SUP7E for 4500 have four SFP+??? Cisco can make this new SUP2T with SFP+ too.

SUP 2T will be orderable tomorrow with FCS in last week of July.  It will be launched in Las Vegas with New Line cards with line cards orderability on 11th July. I cannot comment on why SUP 2T have 2 X2 interfaces, probably by design.
