Hi I am trying to find out what router is best for this setup?
I have a DSL line in a remote office, I will create a VPN to my HQ. Normally I just put in a Cisco 877 as they do a great job.
However, in this remote office is another company with a few server which our users in this remote office need to access. They have given me an Ethernet cable to their network (very trustworthy) and I want to put this into my router and firewall this network.
So the setup will be:
DSL Line > Cisco DSL router > switch > My LAN
Now where can I put this other companies network? I thought of some sort of DMZ, but I don't think a Cisco 877 can do this sort of stuff. However would something like a Cisco 1841 with an ADSL card help as it has 2 FE ports, 1 FE could go into the switch and the other FE could be this companies ethernet? I think I can then add some access lists to allow my LAN to this companies LAN?
Just wondered what your thoughts were?
