Hello all,
I have a brand new stack consisting of 4 x 3850 switches that will be installed in our datacenter. There will be no routing done on these switches (only a default gateway/route to our core router when it needs to be routed). IP Routing is not enabled.
It will consist of 15-20 VLANs which will server primarily as host/appplication VLANs, Backup VLAN, Live Migration VLAN and our primary internet feed.
Primary applications will be accessing SQL and Oracle Databases.
Thanks!

Hi
You have got 2 on the 38s both will work for you what your doing , its probably already on vlan as default and you can move to advanced if you have the license to support it
You can use SDM templates to configure system resources to optimize support for specific features, depending on how your device is used in the network. You can select a template to provide maximum system usage for some functions.
Advanced—The advanced template is available on all supported images for this release. It maximizes system resources for features like netflow, multicast groups, security ACEs, QoS ACEs, and so on.
VLAN—The VLAN template is available only on the LAN Base license. The VLAN template disables routing and supports the maximum number of unicast MAC addresses. It would typically be selected for a Layer 2 device.

Thanks to both of you! I went ahead and set it manually to VLAN and reloaded the stack.
Thanks!
