Why the command "test etherchannel load-balance interface port-channel..."is not active on VIRL's IOSvL2 switch?

Why isn't there this command? #test etherchannel load-balance interface port-channel...
The CCNA guide says to use it to test the load in the Port-Channels, but in the switches on VIRL it is not present ... mmm.

Can anyone tell me something about it?

thank you very much

Dario

Hi,

I know that this command will not support on all platforms. So you have to check the ISO version, Platform compatibility as well.

WHY!  its because you will slowly find out if you haven't already is that VIRL or CML as its called now in its current state isn't "very good" (I would put an expletive here but refrained from doing so) , lots of features not working or supported producing inaccurate results thus providing us with an untrustworthy lab simulation proof of concept platform!

Thanks for the reply. I'm not so experienced that I can evaluate simulators. However, I find VIRL better than Packet Tracer ...
