Hi Experts,
Ether channel only works for switch to switch, right?? I saw a document from cisco that etherchannel configuration from a catalyst switch to server.
Is this possible for a normal IOS switch???
Thanks

As Dominic says, yes it is supported and is quite common. Note though that you cannot use PaGP on the etherchannel because that is Cisco proprietary so if you want to dynamically negotiate the etherchannel you need to use LACP.

Yes, etherchannel is supported with server using LACP.
The server NIC driver must also support LACP...

It is the same on the switch end yes although you will need to specify LACP as the etherchannel neogotiation protocol.
On the server end it is vendor specific so you need to refer to their documentation. One important note. Most vendors refer to etherchannel as trunk links. It is confusing because Cisco use trunk to mean something else. So when you are looking at the vendor docs you probably won't find any mention of etherchannels but trunks.
