I did some reading and I think it should be fine but I want to see if there is any feedback from the community...
We have two 3750's that are stacked and I want to remove the 2nd one. Both switches are online and running. If I remove the 2nd switch only from the stack while the stack is operational will it affect the rest of the traffic from the 1st switch (master)?
Will removing a switch from a stack while its hot affect any traffic? It should just detect the switch is no longer there and be fine?
Thanks.

yes you can remove one switch without affecting the rest of the stack, obviously you would need to move over the connections to the other switches :)

Thanks for the input, there will be no other switch added to the stack. Once we remove the 2nd switch, there will only be one.

It may, it depends whether the switch you want to deactivate is the master or not. (If your 2nd switch is not master, you should be okay.)

Hi,
As always it is best to carry out network changes in the downtime window.
However sometimes we are not afforded this luxury.

1)Make sure you know where the master is before starting
2) Power down the switch you want out
Follow the rest of the details in the link
