WLC 5508 configuration, 3650 switch conf and Aircap AP's.

Hi all.

Im pretty new with cisco so i need help. Thanks alot :)

So here is my case:

I have 2 cisco 5508 WLC's, Catalyst 3650 and Aircap AP's

First of all. I have all specs (ip's etc).

Do i have to connect WLC together via redundancy before i start to configure first WLC? After boot does configuration automaticly move to secondary WLC configuration?

How do i connect WLC's to a switch? (Physical cabling?)

Do i have to log on 3650 and create vlans?

Where i connect all the ap's? How do i stage ap's?

Those are very noob questions. I have a clue how to do this but i need a confirm that im doing it right.

So if anyone can do a step By step guide to a cisco beginner i would be more than happy :)

Hello,

indeed if you connect both WLCs via the redundancy port, the configuration will be synchronized from the Active to the Standby WLC.
