WRV210 Wired Connection Issue

Hello

I have the Cisco Small Business Router WRV210, but whenever I try to connect it to my main PC, the computer / router do not detect each other. (Router does not show 1-4 lights, and the computer does not say anything is connected). I know it is not drivers for the network interface card, because the cards work great when its plugged in directly to the DSL Modem. I have tried 3 network cards, none of them work with the router but they all work with the modem so I can also rule out hardware. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

What is the LED status in front panel on the ethernet ports is it showing green after reboot or no led status,If no led status then ethernet slot is having some problem.

Check out the below link for WRV210 getting to know for led status at the startup

Hi,

I have the same issue with WRV210 connected to WRP400 and Synology DS210j.

Check this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SDzd77DY50

Any solution to this problem? I have the same kind of issue. In fact, the router can communicate with some devices, and not with other devices. I can't figure out what cause this weird behaviour. For example, in my case, it's NOT working with Lenovo Thinkpad laptops, but worked with an Asus laptop which I used to configure it. Also, it worked with a D-Link switch, but did not worked with an HP switch. Router using latest firmware, 2.0.0.11.

Thanks.
