hi all,

can someone advise if WS-C2960-48PST-L supports PVLAN?

the feature navigator seemed outdated and google search is not helping either.

hi,
I think that private VLANs are supported only on MLS 3560 and higher.

Hi

Checked one of mine below and it doesn't seem to have it on that version anyway

xxxxxxxx(config-vlan)#?
VLAN configuration commands:
are          Maximum number of All Route Explorer hops for this VLAN (or zero if none specified)
backupcrf    Backup CRF mode of the VLAN
bridge       Bridging characteristics of the VLAN
exit         Apply changes, bump revision number, and exit mode
media        Media type of the VLAN
  mtu          VLAN Maximum Transmission Unit
name         Ascii name of the VLAN
no           Negate a command or set its defaults
parent       ID number of the Parent VLAN of FDDI or Token Ring type VLANs
remote-span  Configure as Remote SPAN VLAN
ring         Ring number of FDDI or Token Ring type VLANs
  said         IEEE 802.10 SAID
  shutdown     Shutdown VLAN switching
state        Operational state of the VLAN
ste          Maximum number of Spanning Tree Explorer hops for this VLAN (or zero if none specified)
stp          Spanning tree characteristics of the VLAN
tb-vlan1     ID number of the first translational VLAN for this VLAN (or zero if none)
tb-vlan2     ID number of the second translational VLAN for this VLAN (or zero if none)

xxxxxxxx(config-vlan)#do sh ver | i PST
cisco WS-C2960-48PST-L (PowerPC405) processor (revision J0) with 65536K bytes of memory.
Model number                    : WS-C2960-48PST-L
*    1 52    WS-C2960-48PST-L   12.2(55)SE8           C2960-LANBASEK9-M
xxxxxxxx(config-vlan)#

As well when I check the latest releases notes for the software available for that platform  which runs across 37s and 35s too its showing they support pvs but I don't see the 29s in there at all for that feature
