WS-C2960-48PST-L - System returned to ROM by address error at PC 0x1532EA0, address 0x0

Hi everyone,  I have a 2960 which has been stable for several months. The switch crashed and then automatically reloaded. This event generated the following crashinfo, on CLI analyzer, its just saying about, to open a tac case :/

Try upgrading to 12.2(55)SE12.

Hi Leo thanks for your response. sure, we are not running the recommended one, but we still want to know the code meaning 

just open the case and probably you will know :)

Raise a TAC Case and they'll interpret the errors.

Leo, thanks for the response, We just wanted to see if the problem had arisen in the community, since we have metrics to check for rebate, so tac case isnt for us.

The root cause of the crash is a memory allocation failure on the switch. With this information we will need to figure out was is the cause of the memory corruption.
It would be suggested to upgrade the IOS version to the suggested one and monitor. The extended crash file will provide a map of the memory at the moment of the crash but further analysis on this would be provided by Cisco TAC with further information about the current status of the switch.
