I just added a X6704 card to our 6513 switch, and it is not working correctly. We are running 12.2(33)SXI5

Hi Robert,
I think the 6704-10GE requires dual fabric channels to function. Can you move this to another empty slot (any available slot between 9 and 13) and check if the module comes up?
In a 6513, only slots 9 through 13 have dual channel connections.

In a 13-slot chassis, WS-X6704-10GE is supported only in slots 9 through 13 and does not power up in other slots.

We had one other slot open on this box; the card is working great now. Thanks for the info guys.

Hi guys
i have some problem related to ws-x6704-10ge,
1) Does it suuport 64 bit or not
2)May i used 9 port for data transfer
Afeter using ws-x6704-10ge i think it's not a effective...
please give your Advice..;-)
