X4712-SFP+E Unknown SFP+

Hi

I have a linecard X4712-SFP+E running in a

4507R+E chassis - with SUP  X45-SUP7L-E running

Version 03.04.00.SG RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

Everything is working - but we have been using   SFP-H10GB-CU5M  - and that is a original Cisco cable  to connect to some big VMWare hosts.

in the sh int status I get this

"Unknown SFP+"

and we are actually collecting some CRC errors

is this confguration not supported by this setup ?

Hi Benediktsv, just wondering if you managed to find a fix for this issue?

I also have a SFP-H10GB-CU2M connected on WS-X45-SUP7-E, and the switch is issuing a %C4K_TRANSCEIVERMAN-3-INCOMPATIBLE: Port Te1/3: New transceiver (speed 0Mbps) is incompatible with this module.
