Hi,
Is there any way to check if the 6000MXP codec (currently using WAVE II camera) can be changed to use Precision HD 720p camera? Thank you.
Best Regards,
Ernie

I think all MXP6000 had the capability to use hd cameras, there were at least
the very old versions of the MXP3000 which only supported pal but no hd input,
at least not on the camera port.
I would say it should work. Best thing would be to try it out.

All Codec 6000 with revision 3 or later support the PHD-S camera. Older version might also work but you will need to connect a separate HDMI cable to it and try. Older versions didn't had the proprietary connector (also known as THSI) which carries power + control + video in single cable.
Revision can be seen underneath the codec. All newer MXPs is also marked with Main Cam HD on the serial connection going to the camera. If you see this marking you don't have to check the revision.
