Add SIP participant from In call menu from during MCU call

Hello,

We are using CUCM 10.5 configured with a SIP trunk towards a MCU 5320 running 4.4 code. When a user joins a conference using his endpoint (SX20), he wants to add a participant B by using the sequence *36 B_alias ##

Once the above sequence is performed the display shows that an H.323 call is being dialed towards the B_alias, which ultimately fails. The reason shown in the MCU is due to a DNS lookup failure.

How can I make sure that the outgoing call from the In call menu is SIP not H.323, as the participant B (CIPC 8.6) is registered to the same CUCM as SIP client.

IF I open the MCU browser I can add and call paricipant B without any problem, I just one the conference participant to be able to use his in call menu to dial out.

All Help is appreciated

After some research I found that this feature is not supported as seen from the documentation below

MCU.PNG

Our setup includes CUCM 10.5 , Exp-C 8.6. All sip endpoints are registered to CUCM. Now since the MCU supports adding H323 participants only, I wonder how I can forward this H323 call initiated by the MCU, to EXP-C, convert it to SIP then trunk it to CUCM registered endpoint.
