Patrick gave you the link to the manual to check the camera view, but note this is a full screen self view, not the "PIP" view that you can open (and leave open) while in a call, this is just to give a quick check before you place a call. The IX doesn't have any PIP self view capability - the camera's don't physically move (you do have the stand up/sit down view change but that's it) so you don't need to worry about what it is/isn't pointing to like you might with a system with a PTZ camera.
