Audio add-in while in a MP call on TP Server 8710

I have a mix of CTS1300/TX1310 CTS3000/TX9000 systems on CUCM 9.1.1a.

There is a sip trunk to VCS-C and my TP Server is registered as a SIP device on the VCS-C.

All CTS/TX devices are running 1.9.3(44)

TP Server is at 3.0(2.48) and VCS is 7.2.1

While in a MP call on the TP Server, if a single screen system (CTS or TX) tries to start and audio add-in call it works.

If a Three screen system tries the same thing, as soon as the three screen system connects to the audio add-in caller, they are dropped form the MP call on the TP server. They are only connected to the audio caller.

This only happens on the three screen systems regardless whether they are CTS or TX systems.

anybody seen this before? Thoughts, hints and suggestions are appreciated.

thx,

rf

Hi,

This looks like hold/resume issue.

Detailed CUCM traces will help. Also what is CUCM version?

Regards,

Sagar

CUCM version is 9.1.1a

Can you tell me more about the hold/resume issue you're thinking of? I didn't see anythink that immediatly drew my attention in the release notes.

thx,

rf

Follow-up:

Ok, I got this figured out, sort of.
I had created endpoints for all of my CTS/TX rooms in TP Server. According to the documentation, Legacy TIP endpoint is for CTS 1.7.3 and below, so I just created an endpoint. Doing this however creates them as "Standard" endpoints, not "SIP Three Screen TelePresence" endpoints.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/ts/admin_guide/cisco_telepresence_server_printable_online_help_3-0_rm.pdf

If I delete all my endpoints, and call into the TP Server, they show up as SIP Three Screen/Single Scree TelePresence endpoints just fine.

I would like to have the endpoints configure in TP Server so that if I have to quickly call many rooms, I can jsut click boxes and not have to remember 30+ e.164 numbers. Is there a way to add an endpoint as a SIP Three Screen TelePresence endpoint?

The best I've come up with is to add them as Legacy devices, and only configure the call out address. This allows a static bridge to dial the rooms, but also allows inbound calls to come in a SIP TelePresence endpoints.

thx,
