Hi,
I would like to use the ISDN feature of my Tandberg Edge 95. I have noticed it is greyed out in the menu system, not allowing me to make calls via ISDN. I have the ISDN ports on the back of the Tandberg.
Is it possible to find out what my bandwidth key supoorts?
This machine is second hand and has not been re-licensed. (I hacve 3 edge 95's with the same issue).
Regards,
Jasiah

You can check IP and ISDN bandwidth configuration by executing “xsta system” on your Edge MXP codec.
For ISDN BW on your specific codec, check the line of “ISDNBandwidth”.
If this line shows “0”, then codec is with IP only bandwidth option key.
If you see 512 (for Edge95), codec is support up to 4 BRI (total of 512kbps) connection.

Thanks for the quick reply. How can i activiate "xsta system"?

You can run “xsta system” command on codec either via serial console port or telnet on it.
If WebGUI access is easy for you, possible to check same information from Web GUI, under System Status > System Information.
Below is sample for accessing system information via WebGUI (sample from 6000MXP so number will be different from what you may see on Edge 95)

Great, found it through telnet.
My ISDN Bandwidth is currently set to 0, can i activate my this or will I need to re-lisence my machines and buy a new Bandwidth Key?
Thanks again for your help.

In order to use your Edge 95 over ISDN connection, you must purchase bandwidth option key that include ISDN capability (since you have IP only bandwidth, you will need to purchase bandwidth upgrade option that will include 1920 kbps IP and 512kbps ISDN capability).
Please contact your Cisco sales representative or Cisco partner.

BTW, PID for Edge MXP bandwidth upgrade from IP only to 512kbps ISDN/2Mbps IP is “LIC-EDG95-BW1”
