Big problem with CISCO SX20

Hello,

I have a big problem with my SX20 telepresence, the camera can not finish adjusting, the remote control does not work (even with new batteries). I found an error in the network interface

Can you help me diagnose the problem?

I guess that the cable is broken, but I do not know how to check it without an spare cable.

I would be grateful for your suggestions.

Hi,

I suppose u can open TAC case with cisco. After troubleshooting with TAC engr, RMA can be raised and get the replacement for Camera Control Cable.

First think to try and do is a software upgrade, sometimes it can resolve camera issues. If a software upgrade doesn't resolve the issue, check the camera control cable and possibly swap it with another. After checking the camera cable, try swapping the camera with a known working camera from another system, you want to find out if the issue is the camera or the codec. Once you narrow down the issue, either the camera control cable, camera, or codec - you'll want to open a TAC case and possibly see about an RMA to get a replacement.
