Hi,
I'm troubleshooting an issue at a customer site. They have several C20 codecs in the same building. Quality of service is configured the same for all C20 endpoints. One of these endpoints is having issues with audio (one way). It's not a permanent problem but it happens once or twice a week.
This problem always involves the same codec. This is a C20 codec running old software: TC3.1.1.220240
I made several test calls but could not reproduce the problem. I asked the customer to keep dates and time when this problem occures, this way I could find the following error messages in the audio0.log logfile:

Like I said QOS is configured exactly the same for al C20's. Could this be a hardware/software problem? Or should I investigate the network some more?

Hi Wouter,
Good to hear that the issue was resolved with that however we strongly recommend to upgrade the codecs to the latest version
if not the latest version then at least to TC 5.1.6

I would like to know whether all other codec are also on same software version as this is very old software.

Hi Vivek,
Most C20 codecs run this sofware version. I'm currently discussing a support contract so I can upgrade all codecs. The strange thing is that the other codecs running the same SW version are not experiencing the same issues. Maybe I should swap the problem codec with a working one, and see if the problem moves too.

This issue seems to be resolved by setting the switchport and codec to 100/full
Running for 2 weeks without issues!

We are still discussing a support contract. I will upgrade all endpoint as soon as i can.
