C20 camera 1080P12: ptz issue

Hello, I have a C20 quickset which includes the above camera, this camera seems to have mechanical issues...when using pan and tilt to certain angles, it automatically jumps back to a 'home' position.  There are no physical blockages around the camera and I've tried removing control/power cable and plugging back in several times. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or have any suggestions?

Hi Clinton,

What is the Software version you are running on the Endpoint ?

Could you pull the xstatus camera from the endpoint CLI mode.

Did you also tried to connect the same camera onto different codec ?

Please provide some more information so that we can proceed further.

Hi Clinton,

I would like to add on Saurabh information that in some software version below TC5.1.6, there were some camera issue, We are not sure which software version you have on C20, if it's not recent one, I would prefer to upgrade.

Thanks for the help, software is old: TC4.2...I want to upgrade it but apparently maintenance agreement is expired.  Is there a way I can upgrade it?

This installation only has 1 codec and camera unfortunately, so no test-swapping between endpoints.
