hi, All,
Somebody forgot the password of C20 Web Access .
So there seems only two ways to handle this.
1) When powered down, pressing the power switch for fifteen seconds (until the green LED in the front of the system turns red. And confirm the reset by two short presses within the next five seconds.
2)Login through RS232 seriaport, and input the command: "xcommand systemunit factoryreset"
But here comes a promblem,
Method 1) can't work with C20 (Soft version: TX5.1.1).
And we can't get in with RS232. (38400, 8, none.1)
How could it be? Shall we have another way ?
Thanks!

HI,
Power down the C20. This can be done by:
Once the C20 is powered down, press and hold the reset button. If you unplugged it to power it down, hold down the reset button and plug in power adapter.
After approximately 10 seconds the status LED will start blinking slowly. Release the button and push it twice within the next 5 seconds. The LED will start blinking faster indicating it is booting.
After a successful factory reset, a confirmation message will be written on the screen after the boot is complete.
Kind regards,
Dharmmesh

Hello,
from our documentation I read that the reset method via power button on C20 starting from release TC5.1 is as follows :
Turn the C20 off by pressing the physical reset button. Now hold the physical reset button for 10 seconds, the LED will start blinking. Release the button and push it twice within the next 5 seconds. The LED will go solid and the factory reset will begin. After a successful factory reset, a confirmation message will be written on the screen on the next start.
For the serial access you need to have a special Y-cable with the settings 38400, 8, N, 1. Do you have such a cable?
Please try the power button procedure above. It differs from what you describe.
