call transfer failed cisco IP Phone 7912

Hello

I have cisco IP Phone  7912 with CUCM 10.5 , Wen I went to transfer a active call they cannot do this .

Phone Load Name : CP7912080004SCCP080108A.

how can I fix this issue.

Hi,

I'm not sure if it helps, but I did a test with a 7912 with the same firmware version registered in a CUCM 10.5 and the transfer worked with no issues.

Is your issue affecting only this model?

Is it occurring in a single phone?

I don't know if it occurring in a single phone . i will check

this issue is just with this single phone .

I used the same number with softphone it's work

What happens when you try to transfer?

Is the call disconnects or the transfer button shows as it is unavailable (or anything else)?

nothing happen when I try to trabsfer the call .they get me nothing

This is the expected behavior when Maximum Number of Calls (in the line appearance configuration) is set for "1".

Have you checked what valeu is configured for this phone?

If it is "1", try to set 2 or greater (up to six for this model)

To change:
1- Go to Phone > Device
2- Search you phone and click in the device name
3- In the phone configuraton, click in the line
4- In the line configuration, set the "Maximum Number of Calls" for 2 or greater

I try to use softphone with same number It's work !!!

This setting is individual for each device.

That's why you need to access first the device, to set this value.

If you click in the line first, you will need to select a device in the "Associated Devices" select box and click in the button "Edit Line Appearance" to show this configuration.

I need to set Maximun Number of calls to 2 ?

You will need at least 2 (up to six for 7912 phones).

This options says how many calls per line this device are allowed to have.
