Calling from Polycom VSX 7000 to Cisco IPT?

Hi Guys,

we have Cisco IPT in the compnay and a customer wants to make a video conference using Polycom VSX 7000.

is it possible since to make a video call from Polycom VSX 7000 to Cisco IPT or vice versa?

please it is little urgent......

absolutely.

Remember that this is initiated as a phone call that causes video to be activated if the destination end supports video.

You'll need to make sure that your regions and locations are properly configured to support the bandwidth and codecs required for the video call between the endpoints, and CUCM supports it easily. The same is true for the pathing between the endpoints, make sure that the proper codec and queuing is established and properly configured.

Lest we forget, make sure the media resource groups/lists contain the proper conference bridges and transcoders to support the endpoints.

We do this all the time, works great when properly configured.
