I have a deployment with a VCS and registered and unregistered endpoints. In this scenario, not registered endpoints can not make calls to registered endpoints. The log in the vcs is:

I think the problem is related with the zones, can anyone help me?
Thanks

Hi,
Have you tried setting up a search rule for AnyIPAddress? I've just tested this and without one I get the same problem as you, but if you set up a search rule as follows it works;
source: any
Mode: AnyIPAddress
On successful match: continue
Target Zone: LocalZone
Otherwise it seems when your registered endpoint receives the ARQ and sends the setup to the Vcs to check if itcan setup the call it won't be able to find an applicable search rule.

It works for me too, but there is something I don't understand. Without the rule Any-to-AnyIP>LocalZone, the unregistered endpoint search shows Source: Authenticated: False as in the example above. With the rule, the search shows Authenticated: True. The unregistered system is not supplying credentials. The call from unregistered to registered is responsded to by the Facilty message that redirects it to the VCSC in both cases, whether there is a rule further along to route out of the VCSC to any IP or not. How does the presence of the search rule change the authentication status of the call setup?
