Hello!

Our customer is having an issue where zooming a daisy chained Sony HD1 all the way in and then trying to pan causes it and the PHD camera that precedes it in the chain to reboot.  The customer can reproduce this consistently with the IR remote and with a Crestron controller.  Here what's involved;

C40 codec->Sound Control Technologies extender->12x PHD->Sony HD1 (also on a Sound Control Technologies extender)

The C40 is running TC6.2.0

PHD Camera is running [ID:400083]

We were unable to make the issue happen when I had him manually issue Ramp commands to the Sony camera from a terminal session with the C40.  I have looked through release notes and tried to search the bug database but couldn't find anything that even remotely sounds like this.  Using xfeedback register /event we tried to see if something else was at play here, but did not see any smoking guns.

I am having the customer find out exactly what commands the Crestron is issuing when controlling the camera, what firmware rev the camera is at and if it is the most up to date.

The question I have is what control mechanism is the Cisco IR remote using when controlling the camera?  It isn't the ramp commands is it?  Are there any bugs that aren't publicly accessible that would apply?

I now have the commands the Crestron is sending to the codec for camera control;

The  top commands are for when the respective button is pressed, the bottom  command is for when the buttion is released.  Could the lack of a Speed  modifier cause any issues?  Also, after the cameras reboot, the codec  doesn't seem to recognize what button is being pressed.
