No, the mute is a whole of system mute, and cannot be triggered on individual microphones by pressing the mute buttons.
You could (assuming you have a Touch 10 control panel with your SX20) program up a User Extension page on the Touch10 UI that has buttons on it to turn the Mode of individual microphones On or Off.
