It will not work . SX/ C series are having diffrent hardware and software .

Agreed with Dharmesh, C/SX/EX Series touch panel will not work with the MXP Series.

Yes, we are talking about CTS-CTRL-DVC8 here.

It is designed to work with C/SX/EX series only.

You Can either use MXP remote control or Crestron or AMX Touch Panel with MXP which works through the serial port of the Codec.

Which Solution from Creston or AMX would be best suited to do the same job as the In-Touch8?

Any Information would be helpful as the offered devices many unnecessary features for our rooms

I would say it is less the brand, its how the control panels are programmed and where you can get better support.

An other option could be to look into new systems like a SX20 with a Cisco touchpanel.
