Hi,
i have CUCM 8.6 with registered EX,MX,CTS devices. Its possible to call outside over VCSc 7.1 and VCSe 7.1 but the other party see the internal number with internal call manager IP.
Example:
64456@192.168.10.10 <- CUCM IP
Two questions now:
1. How could i change this internal IP to external domain name?
2. What do i need to configure for dialing the internal device registered on cucm from external ?
For question one i have tried to change this with Transforms but not successfully. :-/
Someone has an idea?
Cheers
Thorsten

Hi,
For point 1 you'll likely need to use CPL to change the source alias - transforms and search rules only affect destination alias.
For point 2 if the users phone 6xxxx@vcs-sip-domain for example and then send this down the sip trunk to the cucm from the vcs control, probably modifying it so it becomes 6xxxx@cucm-ip-address in the search rules

Thanks Guy. DO you have an example for a CPL file? This should be upoaded to the VCS right? Is this somewhere documentated?
