Good morning,
I'm looking into strange behav. of Cisco 9971 IP Phone.
For example: Today in the morning, I've rebooted this phone and he is registered from 10.91.0.3 IP, but in a few hours when DHCP lease will be expired and if Phone will obtain a new IP from DHCP server, he will try to authenticate on SIP server (CME 8.6) again, but
show voice register pool mac <MAC> will show me that this phone (all extnsions) are authenticated but from old IP(IP is not used usually, no no another device is connected to this IP).
Is it bug of IOS/SIP frimware or it's my /dev/hands?
Thanks for the help!

hi ,
Could you try one of the following...
Reset Security: Applications > Administrator Settings > Reset > Security
(this will possibly reset the phone)
OR
DHCP release: Applications > Administrator Settings > Network > IPv4 > DHCP
release (Yes)
Thanks,
Karthik
