Cisco AS5350 High CPU after script change

A Chairde,

My Cisco AS5350 has recently had problems that force us to reload to get services back.

When we alter the script, change CODECs , destination patterns , change H323 Voip-ID etc ..., after 3-4 Changes we get this error:

1w5d: %IVR-3-LOW_CPU_RESOURCE: IVR: System experiencing high cpu utilization (99/100).

Call (callID=18) is rejected.

We are forced to RELOAD , as all calls are blocked.

This only happens when alterations are made to running config .

Hi,

cpu hogs are difficult to diagnose and after the problem is gone there isn't much to do.

I notice that you are running an old IOS version and I suggest you to upgrade to the latest maintenance of 12.4, so you will benefit of all the bug fixes tha went in the meanwhile.

Next time consider posit to the Voice, forum, this one is for video over IP.
