Hi All,
Recently I have encountered ISDN Link Box showing red color power indicator light steady on on the front of the box.
Currently the firmware version is IL1.1.0 working with Cisco C60 VC with firmware version TC7.3.3.
Previously it is working fine but all of a sudden cannot work using ISDN call.
According to customer that there is nothing change in the environment and configuration of any settings in the Cisco C60 or ISDN Box.
I have checked from the xStatus from Cisco ISDN Link Box showing PRI Interface 1 status: Not Ready and ISDN PRI Interface 1 Layer1Status: Red
I also found something like isdnpri pri0: Error PLL not locked when the CIsco ISDN Box is boot up.
Can I know if anyone here understand what is the root cause of the problem?
As per attached are the xConfiguration file and xStatus file retrieve from Cisco ISDN Link Box.
Any help or recommendation is appreciated.
Thanks.

Looking at your screenshots, the issue appears to be that your PRI is down. You may want to check that with your Telco.
IL1.1.0 is quite old and has a number of bugs - so I'd suggest you upgrade to a more recent version (Edit: looking at your screenshot it appears you have already upgraded to IL1.1.6), and similar with your C60, TC7.3.3 has been deferred, the version that is recommended is TC7.3.6.
You may also have a pairing issue as the PairingStatus is showing as UnPaired.

Hi Wayne,
I have upgraded both CIsco ISDN Link Box firmware to IL1.1.6 and Cisco VC to TC7.3.6 but it doesn't help.
I have used another Cisco ISDN Link Box and has resolved the issue.
To me, it seems like the Cisco ISDN PRI port is not working as it cannot detect that the PRI line is ready from the xStatus command.
I also found something like isdnpri pri0: Error PLL not locked when the CIsco ISDN Box is boot up.
Is there any command I can send to revive the box or is it that there is some chip inside the Cisco ISDN Link box faulty?
Regards

You could try a Factory Reset on the ISDNLink first.
If that still doesn't work, I'd log a call with the TAC to RMA it, especially if you have an identical one that works fine, but this one doesn't.
