Cisco Meeting Server Edge and Expressway-E on Same Public IP

We have requirement to deploy Cisco Meeting Server with Cisco Meeting App.

We already have a Public IP with Ports Mapped to Exp-E server.

I saw in Cisco Documentation that Cisco Is Planning to Remove Depedecy on CMS Edge server and Merge it in Exp-E Server.

So in Current scenario with Exp-E and CMS Edge can we use Same Public IP or Need Separate Pubic IP ?

Note :- Exp-E is used for MRA and B2b Calls.

Thanks

Haris

I would be careful because Expressway E needs xmpp srv records, for jabber federation

It's not advisable to have them on the same public IP address, and you will have issues

Use a different Public IP

TURN is both used on Expressway E and CMS Edge.

Cisco is planning to merge CMS EDGE and Expressway Edge, and has already done some functionality with WebRTC and Guest Proxy

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/conferencing/ciscoMeetingServer/Deployment_Guide/Version-2-1/Cisco-Meeting-Server-2-1-Scalable-and-Resilient-Deployments.pdf Appendix B for ports required on CMS E

But currently
using the expressway E
CMA will not work (does work internally because of internally xmpp srv records)
Branding will not work
