We need to upgrade the OS of our SX80 codecs to the latest level , so they can be used with CVI (to use them also with MS Teams).
Some of them have still an old OS , will it break the integration with our AMX DVX2155 system if the firmware is upgraded and are the serial commands different in the new OS ?
I believe serial auth. is needed with the new OS (using the login details of the codec.), with the old OS it was not needed I believe.
These are the current OS versions:
SX80 TC7.3.5.a93bdb1 (controlled by AMX DVX2155, no serial auth. at the moment)
SX80 CE 9.13.1 98dd07c4099 2020-09-01 (serial auth. already enabled)
We are not using the Cisco Touch 10 panel for these, but an AMX MXT-700 panel.
Any other things to think of?
