Cisco Tandberg C40 Codec Forgot User/Password credential

Hi All,

Is there a way to retrieve the username and password for both webGUI and CLI without doing the factory reset of the codec?

because we do not have any backup configuration of the codec so it is not possible for us to factory reset it.

Depending on the software version you're running, a factory reset most likely might have to be performed and can't be avoided, the instructions are located in the link Acevirgil provided.

the TC firmware is TC 7 and I see from the instructions that factory reset is necessary however,

Is there a way that we can backup the config of the codec without accessing the web/CLI? Thank you

Unfortunately no, all the methods to access the configuration would require you to login.
