Cisco TelePresence Content Server Error "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate"

Hi All,

Can you help us to identify what is the caused of this error encountered when we tried to open the video recorded session on Internet explorer.

Error Encountered "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate"

Try logging in via HTTPS rather than HTTP.  That will allow you to log on and see the content.  You can then switch back to HTTP after you have authenticated - this can help on older versions of TCS that don't allow playback over HTTPS.

Or, if you want to fix it on a permanent basis, you will need to install valid certificates on to IIS on the TCS and stop using the self-signed ones it ships with.

You need to install a SSL certfificate by a trusted CA, as the login process for the TCS uses HTTPS and requires a certificate.  As Wayne mentions you can use HTTPS at the start of the URL to get the login prompt to appear, but then you'll need to change it back to HTTP once logged in because not all video formats and players provided by the TCS support streaming via HTTPS.
