Hi I.A.,

Yes, you can use Microsoft Teams on the Cisco Board 70S. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Update the software: Ensure that your Cisco Board 70S is running the latest version of Cisco Webex RoomOS.

  2. Enable Microsoft Teams integration:

    • Cisco Board 70S doesn’t natively support the Microsoft Teams app. However, you can integrate it with Microsoft Teams using Cloud Video Interop (CVI) solutions.
    • Cisco partners with CVI providers like Pexip or Cisco Webex to allow Cisco devices to join Teams meetings.
  3. Set up Cloud Video Interop (CVI):

    • Contact a certified CVI provider such as Cisco Webex or Pexip.
    • Register the Cisco Board with the CVI provider to enable it to join Microsoft Teams meetings.
  4. Join Microsoft Teams meetings:

    • After the integration is complete, you can join Microsoft Teams meetings by dialing into the meeting using the SIP address provided in the Teams meeting invitation.
    • You can also configure your calendar to show upcoming Teams meetings directly on your Cisco Board.

If you need more help during the setup process, let me know!

Best regards,
Stefan

Is this device registered with the Webex cloud?

If registered with the Webex cloud:

  1. Make sure that the web engine is on. If not, follow the steps described here to turn it on.
  2. Login to https://admin.webex.com, go to the Devices page.
  3. Select Settings in the top right corner and navigate to Meeting providers. Toggle on Enable Microsoft Teams.
  4. Joining meetings through the Microsoft Teams button with WebRTC is on by default. To disable it, go back to the devices page on https://admin.webex.com and select All configurations. Choose UserInterface > Features > Call > JoinMicrosoftTeamsDirectGuestJoin > Auto/Hidden. This feature is set to Auto by default.
