Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 Room OS upgrade

Dear Team,

I am trying to upgrade Room OS of Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 to RoomOS 10.19.4.

Current version: RoomOS-10.11.2

New version: RoomOS 10.19.4

but the upgrade is failing . the image which i am trying to upload is "cmterm-s53200ce10_19_4_2.k3.cop.sgn"

It would be great if someone can please share his experience what could be the issue

Hello.

The "cmterm-s53200ce10_19_4_2.k3.cop.sgn" image file is valid for Board 55: for the Board 55 Pro endpoint, the file you need to use is "cmterm-s53300ce10_19_4_2.k3.cop.sgn".

thanks a lot Sergio, i used this file to upgrade Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 Cisco Webex Board Pro 75 devices, and it worked for me 

"cmterm-s53300ce10_19_4_2-l4t.k3.cop"

- one of my Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 device is running this image "ce-9.5.1" and i need to upgrade it to room os 10.19.4, what procedure/path i should follow please.

According to this document, you should be able to upgrade directly from any CE9 version. In any case, if you have problems the procedure suggests that you update your device to the release "CE9.15.6 Step upgrade" (that file is available on cisco.com).

current version  ce-9.5.1 of the device Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 is failing to upgrade directly to the Room OS 10.19.4,

which intermediate image i have to use in order to upgrade it to  Room OS 10.19.4

Are you sure the device giving you problems is a Cisco Webex Board Pro 55? From datasheet this device is compatible with RoomOS 10.11 or later.

In a Cisco Webex Board 55/55S, if the direct upgrade to RoomOS fails (as in your case) you can install the intermediate release called “CE9.15.6 StepUpgrade,” the file name is “s53200ce9.15.6-step-upgrade.pkg.”

current version ce-9.5.1------>>upgrade to intermediate version ------>>ce9.15.6-step-upgrade----->>Room OS 10.19.4

thanks a lot battagls, for all your support, i really appreciate it, just one last question please, i am left with the below devices can you please let me know how i can upgrade it to this version: ce9.15.16.5.5d66bd5601f, i mean what will be the path i should follow, i have mentioned the device name and their current version for your kind reference please.

Regarding your last question, the Release Note “Cisco Collaboration Endpoint Software 9” says the following:

"Upgrading from TC7.3.6 and above or CE8.x to CE9 directly is supported."

In my experience, when for some reason a direct upgrade did not work, I tried upgrading to an intermediate release.
