Is there a backdoor or administrator password to get in if password is forgotten?

If you've forgotten the admin password, the only thing you can do is a factory reset of the endpoint using the power button, here is a video on how to Factory Reset the SX80.

Hi,
If you're not able to perform physical factory reset on the codec successfully as suggested by Patrick, then you can also perform factory reset by accessing the codec serially using a Console cable and perform a boot break sequence:
1. The serial interface is available during boot as well as during normal operation
2. Connect the USB into your computer and the RS232 (DSUB9) to the serial interface located at the back of the SX80 codec.
3. Connect with Baud rate 115200, 8 Data bits, 1 Stop bits, Parity: none
4. Applications: Putty (Win), TeraTerm (Win), Zterm (Mac), Minicom (Linux)
5. Connect a serial cable from the laptop to the codec and reboot
6. Hold down the key "b", until you get a message "Press 'c' to stop autoboot". Press "c" to enter boot prompt
7. You will now have a "Saturn>" prompt; Issue the command: "factoryreset".
