We have a Codec Pro+ that is working in tandem with a Crestron control system. We are using several custom widgets in the codec to trigger events in the Crestron processor.
After a period have time, it has been discovered that the codec will drop UI extension subscriptions (therefore events aren't triggered in the Crestron control system). Other subscriptions remain in place; only UI extensions are affected. If we re-subscribe manually, they will work until they are dropped again. There is nothing in our Crestron code that would de-subscribe from these items.
Is this a known issue with certain firmwares or has anyone else encountered this?

I vaguely recall a Crestron programmer stating that this happens if the serial/telnet/SSH connection closes between the controller and codec. He had to configure it to resubscribe each time the connection (re)established.

Thanks for the reply. The modules we're using in the control code do re-subscribe if the connection to the codec is ever lost and re-established.
