Codec Webex Plus 2 P60 Cameras Not Found After Codec Reboot

Hello Folks!

Just wondering if any one came across this issue before;

My client has a Webex Plus Codec with 2 P60 cameras connected to it via RJ45 which is connected via a Small TP-Link Switch.

And the HMDI connected via Crestron NVXs.

 

Every time a reboot is performed on the codec the camera shows as not connected, but sometimes it does connect but there is not control. 

 

We have check the settings on the NVXs which is OK, have checked the camera settings on the codec and the issue persist.

 

Next we will try to remove the camera from the ceiling and connect it direct to the codec to bypass the switch and perhaps try another camera or try the faulty ones on another room.

 

Do you guys have any suggestions of what could be the cause of this?

 

Firmware is at the latest Version.

If the video from the cameras is still fine, but the codec is complaining it can't see the cameras, and you lose camera control - then it's the ethernet cables/switch you have added that are the issue.

Try swapping out the cables for known good Cat6A cables and make sure that the switch is operating correctly (or try swapping it for another working gigabit switch).
