Dear All,
Can some body help to configure Video call in CP-8845 Cisco phone.
Initially I was not able to add phone in Call manager 11 version but after adding device pack it was successful.
I have added cp-8845 phone enabled video capabilities.
But still I am unable to make video call. Cisco support told me to enable in Phone preference, but i did not find in preference option in CP-8845 phone.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

What CUCM version?
Does the location config allows video calls?

Hi Jaime,
cucm version : 11.0.1.20000-2
audio video bandwidth : unlimited
enterprise phone configuration: Camera Enabled
video calling enabled
In Phone: Video Capabilities - enabled
Please let me know what more is required to activate video calling...

By any chance do they have the MTP option checked?
If yes, uncheck and test again.

I have checked and found Media Termination Point Required is unchecked.
I did not find any preference option is Phone itself. kindly help me.

Hi Jaime,
I am facing the same issue. I have verified the MTP is unchecked, and enterprise settings and enterprise phone settings are enabled for video calling. I don't know what more I can check.

I have the same problem, with 9971 there is not problem, only with 8845

Hi Muhammad,
I am facing the same issue here. We just recently upgraded our CUCM from 8.6 to 11.5. From previous CUCM 8.6 it was working fine, but after upgrade to 11.5 we now face this issue.
I can see you have the same problem, but is this already resolved? Since the last update to this thread is 11 months ago. Please help. we already checked the MTP configuration in the phone but it is already unchecked.

Hi All!
We have resolved the issue. since we upgraded to a new CUCM version, the engineers who migrated the configuration was not able to provision bandwidth on the Region and Location for the used Device Pool. Now everything works as usual. Hope this helps to others.
