Creating audio announcement on specific Telepresence Conductor conference

Hi  folks,

I have a client with an unusual request.  They have Telepresence Conductor XC4.3.1 and Telepresence Server 4.4(1-16) s/w versions.  The Conductor is neighbored to a VCS and they have a CUCM as a neighbor zone also.  The CUCM has a mix of SCCP 7960 phones and video capable SIP phones.  The VCSC has Cisco room based endpoints registered.

The client wants to have an audio announcement played when anyone joins a specific conference as an audio only participant.  They basically want the conference name played.  Checking Conductor and TPS documentation (including TPS API docs) seems to indicate this is not possible.  It is possible to send the call to their Cisco Unity Connection, play a message and then transfer to Conductor, but that is a messy way of achieving the end result that they want.

Any suggestions (othr than selling them Meeting Server) would be appreciated.

Cheers, Paul R.

You can configure custom voice prompts using advanced parameters of a conference template with TelePresence Server 4.3(1.14) and later.

Setting Up Customized Voice Prompts on TelePresence Server

To see all the voice prompts you can customize, refer to the TelePresence Server API Guide under flex.conference.create.

You can assign custom voice prompts on a per conference basis using conference templates in Conductor, but unfortuantly what you're looking for isn't possible, as the closet option is customWelcomeScreenAudio, but there is no way to have it reflect the name of the conference and distingush what type of participant someone is.
