CUCM to VCS return missed calls

I am using CUCM 8.6.2 (at least for another month or two until we upgrade to 10.5...) and VCS X8.6.

I've set up a SIP trunk between the two and it works, however when I call from H.323 VCS registered endpoints, the caller ID shown on the CUCM endpoint is basically the H.323 alias of the VCS endpoint which cannot be called from the CUCM endpoint. As long as I know the phone number assigned to that VCS endpoint, I can still call them back, however, I'd like to fix this issue so that users can just return the missed call like they do all other missed calls.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

First it is my hope when you upgrade please go to CUCM 11.0 or 5  and VCS 8.8 but just my thought.

To your question as we all know CUCM only does SIP in and out. So add a SIP Route in CUCM so when it sees H323 now known in CUCM as IP dialing. It will forward to VCS.
