Delay in presentation using SX10.

Hi 

We are facing issue with SX 10 while sharing presentation using Cisco proximity.

Current s/w is ce 8.3.4..can anyonme suggest is it because of bug or could be any other issue with SX10.

Due to the way that proximity works, there will always be a slight delay in what is on your screen and when it appears on the system.  There is no way to fix this.  If you want no delay, then you need to use ca cable rather than proximity.

There is a delay of 3-4 seconds.Is it likely to be there or can be reduced by any way..

To add further to @Wayne DeNardi 's response:

The proximity app will not provide smooth animation as it has very limited FPS refresh (1-3 fps). 

The images from the laptop are snapshots and not a live feed of images so for presenting motion pictures this is not a good alternative to using a presentation cable. For Powerpoint presentation where still images are presented, content share via Proximity gives a good experience.

For a more fluid content sharing experience, using the presentation sharing cable attached to the telepresence unit is recommended.
