Hi Experts,
Could you please let me know the pros and cons of using TX software on newly installed TX9000. Currently, I am running CTS 1.9.2 and we don't get the screen capture from TX9000 GUI . Cisco recommended us to use TX6.0 for TX devices.
I am little confused because majority of my devices are running CTS 1.9.2 and we have just bought couple of TX series devices.
So I just want to figure out the pros and cons before upgarding these TX Series devices to the TX softwar version.
Please let me know your opinions.
Thanks,
Saurabh Gupta

Saurabh,
The TX Software are for the Lago Codecs. The software still gets downloaded as CTS firmware in COP file format. One the primary codec downloads the firmware from the CUCM you will see the TX tag. I will provide a link to get to the TX features guide.

Hopefully this helps out.
